Ellie Mental Health is expanding throughout Tennessee and is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) to join our clinical team.
This position is designed for a therapist who wants to provide high-quality outpatient care while working within an organization that prioritizes accessibility, flexibility, collaboration, and clinician well-being.
We’re committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and finding practical, creative ways to eliminate barriers to treatment.
Position Responsibilities
The LPC-MHSP will be responsible for delivering comprehensive outpatient mental health services, including:
The LPC-MHSP will be responsible for delivering comprehensive outpatient mental health services, including:
- Evaluating clients and identifying appropriate mental health diagnoses
- Creating, implementing, and reviewing individualized treatment plans
- Providing ongoing therapeutic services
- Completing all required clinical documentation accurately and on time
- Maintaining a minimum of 27 client visits per week
- Applying evidence-informed and creative interventions to support client goals
- Coordinating care with relevant support systems and professionals, including families, case managers, schools, employers, and medical providers
- Maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Participating in clinical meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities
- Supporting additional clinic operations and responsibilities as needed
Required Background
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Master's degree in behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution
- Current Tennessee LPC-MHSP licensure
- Temporary licensure and qualified post-master's candidates may be considered
- Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Experience maintaining clinical case notes and other required documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to establish appropriate therapeutic boundaries
- Comfort providing services to a diverse client population
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems
- Valant experience preferred but not required
- Ideally credentialed with insurance panels
